Little Lost Angel: The Advent Tree

By Janet Field Heath
Illustrated by Janet Laura Scott
1953, reissued in 1980

Dec. 1: The Little Lost Angel

This is one of my favorite stories, partly because I always get to put the angel on the tree and partly because it’s an very touching story about self-sacrifice and service to others. It is a truly moving story about a little angel who falls asleep the night Jesus is born and doesn’t return to heaven. In fact, I love it so much that I took the time to scan each page of the book and share it with you. I hope you enjoy it! (This book is no longer in print, but you can find used copies.)
