It seems like we just finished Halloween and Christmas is here. The stores are full. My satellite began offering the Christmas music channels already. And friend began contemplating when to put her decorations up. It’s a bit frustrating! Then I saw this:

As your calendar and mine begins to fill up with work functions, church celebrations, and family festivities, remember to savor it, like that piece of slow-melting chocolate on your tongue after a night of trick-or-treating, that late nap induced by those sleepy hormones in turkey, or that calm the invades the house when the kids are playing with their new toys. This is a magical time of year filled with the best in all of us–imagination, gratitude, humility, love, joy, peace, and grace.
