The In-Between Time

Quiet.  Peaceful.  Tired.

I love my boys dearly, but I am often exhausted at the end of the day and happy to put them to bed.  The only question is what to do with that time.  The time where you still have a little energy left, just before the crash that finds you immovable.

Here are some of the options:

  1. Clean up the house and do laundry.
  2. Read, perhaps in a bath even.
  3. Pilates on Netflix.
  4. Write.
  5. Video games with my husband.
  6. TV.

Regardless of what I choose each night, the crash comes.  So the key is to enjoy that sacred time.  Pick something that continues that inner peace.  Because it all begins again at the sound of the alarm.

So what to do tonight?
